Avengers concept art lands online

With the April release date fast approaching, excitement levels for The Avengers are beginning to reach fever pitch in the Total Film office. Consider our delight then, when we stumbled across this leaked piece of concept art for the super-team's Quinjet!The Quinjet is part of SHIELD's airborne arsenal, a kind of modified fighter jet, used by SHIELD operatives in the comics, and occasionally by the Avengers themselves.The new image looks to show a fairly faithful representation of the vehicle, which looks even more badass than Batman's new aircraft. Rumour has it the Helicarrier is also set to appear in its role as SHIELD's mobile aircraft carrier.As for who will be getting their hands on the Quinjet, the smart money is on Hawkeye, not least because he appears to be sitting in some form of cockpit in the above image.The Avengers will come blasting into UK cinemas on 27 April 2012.
